OBS studio loss of FPS

Hey

I'm trying to get OBS Studio setup so I can stream some DAOC at one point - but when I boot up OBS my FPS drops from constant 60 to 30. I know OBS studio is demanding, but that just seems rediculous - anyone else that have tried using OBS studio for streaming that knows what is going on?

Usually in other games I lose about 10 FPS, not 30.
