So I am logged in on the site. When I click the launcher it sends me to the "Play button", it tells me the token is no longer valid, try again with a new token. I downloaded game a long time ago (found uthgard right around th time it went down) and have no clue what it's even talking about when it says token. Sorry if it's been answered many times.

I read through it every single word and saw no mention of the word "token". Even did a CTRL+F and had no luck. When I first installed I was able to play, but I guess I'll completely uninstall and reinstall.

Have you tried signing out and signing back in again with your open id stuff?
My mind’s made up, don’t confuse me with facts.
You mustn't assume that your personal situation is a reflection of every other person that has logged in to Uthgard.

We changed how you access Uthgard since shutdown. In the past we did not use OpenID or a "Token" for authentication.
Some questions so I can help you:

1) Did you install the latest live version of DAoC?
2) Did you install our launcher?
3) Did you login on our website using OpenID like gmail or gmx?
4) Did you create a new game account while logged in with OpenID in your "Manage Account"?
5) Did you change/set the game directory in out launcher (first run or in settings)?
6) Did you see the Uthgard logo when clicking the "Play" button?

To change the launcher settings, login with OpenID on our website and click "+" next to the "Play" button.
Then click the "Launcher settings" button.

1) Yes. I have a live version (fully patched)
2) Yes. It opens up an internet browser with an arrow pointing to play button.
3) Yes. I have this linked to my gmail account.
4) According the the "manage account" tab, I have an account linked to ???
5) Possibly the cause. I didn't change it personally, but the game directory under the launcher settings is the same as the normal camelot.exe in the electronic arts folder. Do I need to change this? If so what to?
6) I see the Uthgard logo for about 3 secs before getting the token error.

Thank you for trying to help!

Could you please create a second game account within your OpenID master account.
I want to make sure you are able to login a new account so it has nothing to do with your client or launcher.

Thanks!

OK, good, what will happen if you try to login your first account now?
Do you still get the error?
