My buddy sometimes plays on my laptop, I usually use my desktop. He set up an OpenID email and game account, but never made any characters. I have my own OpenID account, and have made several characters. I am now on vacation and took my laptop with me, but I can't seem to get it to log in to MY account with my existing characters. At first, it had his email at the top of the webpage, I guess indicating that this machine was still trying to log in to his account. I changed the OpenID to my account via webpage, but when I launch the game, it keeps coming up with an empty character list, and I can only assume it's still trying to log in to his account (which has no characters yet). The launcher does not appear to have a place to manually change the login name t to the one I want.

How do I get this machine to direct the launcher to MY account?

I hope that description makes sense.

Edit -> Preferences -> Open ID --> Sign Out

Thank you Krokodil - but I suppose I should have said that didn't work. I already tried that, and then tried to log back in with the OpenID I used for the account I was playing on, and I still get an empty character list. Just not sure what to do.

EDIT:

I tried it again, not sure what I did differently last night, but this time it worked, thank you. I signed out on the launcher preferences and then relaunched it without trying to enter a new OpenID. I had the one I wanted open in my browser, and it picked it up this time and I got logged in to the account I was trying to access.

So... problem solved. Thank you.
