I'm having a problem with the merc epic 3. I know the quest worked here once upon a time, because I did it on my first merc, Aerewyn. I'm trying to do it again on my new merc, Tricksen but when I /use the not I get from the Difwych guy, nothing happens. Is this a known issue?

I've tried manually typing /use, and using my mapped /use key, and also relogging. Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, I looked but didnt notice anything pertaining to this quest. Thanks for your time.
