Stick

Hi,
I am alittle confused over the mechanics of /stick, I am aware this mechanic can be taken advantage of in some situations, for example running through the target spamming back styles. However I was in rvr on my mercenary recently and stuck to an experienced player, a rr11 Healer, who then proceeded to walk backwards strafing, making it so my character was unable to hit him/her. I think there was a message in my combat log telling me that the player was not in range. As soon as I unstuck to get a style off they sprinted giving them a precious second head start. I've not encountered this before, is /stick really that bad? Many thanks Last edited by Sifi on Nov 25, 2013 13:45, edited 1 time in total.

Ahh ok I will do, I thought there might be evidence and information on this already.
I discussed the issue with my assisting partner at the time and he claimed to have the same issue, for something so effective i thought it would be common place. |

pls move this thread towards support section.
livelike... many peeps still use it on ywain chars will surge if they strafe => high chance to get "out of range" messages and hit unstyled there are two options you can do 1. dont stick like a bot. if they strafe move manually. if they jump and move in circles around you, stand still and pan your char manually (but hit stick fast if they try to escape) 2. spam your style-button |
