daocportal won't load with windows 7

Hello
I have windows 7 32 and another comp with windows 7 64. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I have verified net framework 3.5 on my comps. I have downloaded patch 1.109 and put in same folder and Mythic DAoC. I have downloaded daocportal into my mythic DAoC folder. I have downloaded the Uthard bin file into my Mythic folder. I have renamed the mythic game.dll to game.dll.1.114b. I have put admin rights on all these exe's I have put the compatability to Windows xs SP3 The daocportal screen flashes on and off. I have to shut down to close it. Any advice will be appreciated. |

Well of course I tried it just like you have it in How to connect first.
I also tried it many times before I started searching for solutions. I was looking forward to playing on Uthgard. Just spent another hour with a friend and we got an error message but not going to bother posting it. |

See. The problem is you didn't follow the Connect guide. Theres no mentioning to do this step. Same here
I strongly advise to start with nothing installed and do the connect guide step by step. You can't do much wrong. If it still fails please contact me in IRC (BlueM) It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.
