I bought a new laptop I5-gen4 with windows 8 and touchscreen. This is for touchscreens with windows like laptops and tablets.

I couldn't get any characters over 25 to login no matter the zoning. I tried to reinstall and unpatch several times. I had a few hints on what to do here on the forums then I read a message about touch screens on another site http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1133923

To temporarily stop the crashing then Ctrl-alt-delete to program manager. Look for Tiptap.exe and close it. This will allow you to login toons over 25.

A permanent fix but will likely take away the ability to use a Pen on the screen. Open my computer and search for sysWOW64 and double click it.

Look for "Touch keyboard and handwriting panel services", left click on it and set it to Disabled. Reboot

It took me a few days to find this out and very frustrating. If you have any programming background and want to throw in your two cents then its much appreciated.
