Playable Character issue.

I seem to be unable to play any/all of my Hibernia characters that are above level 14. I have 3 that are playable (2 14, 1 12) the rest, anywhere from mid/high twenties to mid 30's, a 46 and a 50 are not.
There is no error on the unplayable characters, I select them, hit play, the screen sits for 5-10 seconds without changing resolution, then dumps me back to desktop. I am playing in windowed mode. However that doesn't seem to be an issue for the toons that are level 14's & 12. I am playing with a custom UI, but again not a problem with the 14's & 12. I tried playing without the custom UI. I tried playing in non-windowed. I've rebooted multiple times between each of these tests. All of the problematic toons are not in a unifying zone or location. They're in alternate places like Housing/TNN/DF/ etc. Looking for any suggestions on next steps. Murg - Hibernia |

Please use one of the characters that you can log in to submit a /callgm report. You may also want to leave your char names in here if a GM happens to read this beforehand.

I getting same thing now just recently. 3 toons on account, two logs on just fine, the third just cant be logged in, it loads up, then crashes directly.

Please check out the following threads:

There have been several software issues preventing characters over a certain level from being logged in. Try killing WAcom-related processes and disabling Symantic Endpoint Protection (more specifically, its application control component), if either of those are installed. If not, Microsoft's Process Monitor might be able to identify interfering software on Windows boxes. |

I'll check on those threads. Thank you kindly for the responses.

I don't have a Wacom, or a touchbased interface on my PC.
However, there was a "TabletInputService" running. With Windows 8: I CTRL-ALT-Delete'd -> Selected Task Manager Scrolled looking for anything referencing "tablet" or "touch" . Right click TabletInputService, Select Stop Selected DAoC Portal, logged in, selected 46 Druid... and it logged in. I can only guess it was something in the last "update", as that's the only net new change to the rig in months. That did seem to fix it however. Thank you all again. Murg |
