Hi there all, I'm back to uthgard after about a 3 year break due to college etc...

I remember my old account name but have completely forgotten the password and never took the time (cause I'm a lazy idiot xD) to attach an email address to the account.

I remember the main chars name, his rr and his crafting type, also some alt crafters however this is all the info I have. I have filled out the manual recovery form.

my question is, is it even possible to recover this account? is there a period after which they are deleted? Also, are they able to check the log ins to see that it hasn't been logged in for almost over 3 years? I just really hope to not have to start over from scratch here considering how much work was put into the account...

There is an account recovery you can send to Abydos somewhere, just gota search for it.

There is not a need to search for it...its right there

Hey guys, thanks for the advice however...

I thought I was fairly clear that I have ALREADY filled out that form. I did it before posting, I also filled out the same form for the same account well over a year ago and never recieved any reply and forgot about it until now.

my post was just asking the general question of "are accounts deleted after a very long time of non-use?"

looking forward to hearing from a gm in regards to this hopefully

chars below level 10 are removed after 6 months of inactivity unless they are above a certain crafting skill.

There are 2 reasons you wouldnt get a reply from an account recovery

1) you filled in your email wrong to the form (yes, it happens)
2) the account you're trying to recover has had a login after the ticket was submitted.

I process these as I have time. We get 40-60 a month, so depending on the line, you may wait a few days (or weeks depending on my time). Generally speaking the longest time they've sat in recent months (past 1.5 years or so) is 1 month.
