hello,
i have problems with my PC system, i play play since 15 months without bigger problems, but since 1 week i have system/game crashes in irregular times. sometimes 2 days without problems, then 3x at an evening each ~60 minutes. this morning ~15 mins after log in running from drium liegen to TNN. curent system: windows 7 x64 / 4GB memory / 250GB SSD / nvidia GT9800 with latest driver v3.20 effect: screen went black, i hear teamspeek for some seconds, screen stays black, no more response from system. no blue screen of death. ned to press the reset button. no advice in windows eventlog. this only appears playing daoc. i re-newed the thermal paste on CPU+GPU to make sure, they had not become too old, checked hardwware with memory test and burn-in stress tests on CPU and GPU, all passed successfully. no change - system cooling fine, runs stable, no overheat. next suspicious was my 2-year old win7 installation 32-bit. i formated the drive, re-installed win7 in 64-bit this time, only drivers and a few nececary programs i used since years (adobe reader, firefox, office 2003, anti virus, skype) .. in the the end much less stuff installed... no change. system has been rock stable over years, no changes on system configuration. since the crash only appears in DAOC, it must have something to do with the game. any advice? |

Have you fully repatched to live yet and allowed the daocportal auto patcher to fully fun? If this doesn't help you may need to fully uninstall daoc then reinstall daoc from http://www.darkageofcamelot.com and allow the daocportal to autopatch the client.
be sure backup any character data from users>username>appdata>roaming>electronic arts>dark age of camelot>lotm Know of a Missing Mob,drop or Mob Camp? Then Post it Here!
