when i play i have 310 dex, and 263 quick ( im full buffed with pooka mantle and pots ) its mean 50% chance to evade

IIRC on live the 250 quickness cap was only for reducing attack speed.

Anyway, evade is higher on this server than it should be due to no defense penetration.

There are 2 possibilities going on here...

1. You are just experiencing the nature of random. It's frustrating at times but consider the following:

When was the last time you saw someone on here complain that they were evading or blocking or parrying too much? Interestingly enough, that doesn't happen because we tend not to feel the need for any outcry when we get a nice die roll resulting in an entire fight gone untouched (yes this happens, I've been in a few fights against sneaks like yourself and not landed a single hit, oh well, bad random for me on those fights). Just try to keep in mind that when you have one of those fights go badly out of your favor on the dice, there is nothing necessarily broken. You'll eventually have fights that go heavily in your favor, and plenty in between.

As far as the honest fights are concerned, you may want to be thankful that WS based defense penetration is not implemented (yet?). Your chance to evade the heavy tank classes is higher on uth than it otherwise should/could/would be.

---------------

2. You are experiencing the lag-drop.

It is possible that you are suffering from the laggy "uth-drop." Due to a combination of factors, it is possible for opponents to land swings against you that do not have to pass through the frontal-arc based defensive checks. Opponents who dance to great excess with specific intent to exploit the lag-drop are common. 2H users have always (even on live) benefited from dancing procedures in order to reduce their opponents reactionary style effectiveness. The uth specific lag-drop has added another incentive to dancing that works especially well with slow weapons, where each swing can be purposefully timed to a walk-through/face or strafe-drop. Your best defense against this may be to take a more aggressive stance and try to match your opponents level of "dirty."

-------------

Best regards,
Eric

i qq only cause i like to duel vs tanks like 1 month ago, see this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1u9gxH0Btw , all is changed, now i cant evade nothing (vs a 2h weaps). Ok nothing is broken but why there is all this difference between 1h weaps and 2h weaps, like linc said, i can evade 70% of 1h hits lol, why 0% of 2h? is possible to know the hit bonus of 2h weaps??

is not normal imho :D

2H gets no bonus against evade, and on live 2H would see much less evades versus uthgard.

on live you would overall less evade , no matter 2h h2h duelwield or whatever,
on uth you evade/parry/block like hell

If you are getting 70% vs 1H and 0% vs 2H then your average is roughly where it should be and the randomness is simply that you are seeing most of your evades pop on 1H instead of 2H as of lately. As far as I understand "to-hit bonus" effects the miss/hit part of the equation and doesn't effect block/parry/evade checks.

For any 1H players who have fought you recently, they would have equal reason to QQ about your 70% evade rate vs them in recent fights ;) Your stat modified evade rate shouldn't exceed about 50% on AVERAGE (actually a little lower), but like i was saying, that can mean 100% for 1 fight, and 0% for the next fight.

If it were me, I would personally NOTICE the 2H swings a lot MORE because they hurt so much more. The effect of this for me would be that I would *feel* like my defense vs the thing that hurts more isn't working properly.

Eric
