Was wondering if there is any way to lock the framerate? I run the game with above 300 ish fps all the time, as a result ive noticed that i cannot jump with my characters and this happens with all of them. as soon as the fps drops below 270-280 i can jump just fine but above that nothing happens when i hit jump key.

none of my characters are either encumbered/stuck or in any other way hindered in any way that should impair my jump abilities.
Any ideas what i can try?

Do you have nvidia or ati? On nvidia you can force vsync in control panel, and I am pretty sure ATI will have similar option somewhere.

Well I wont help you with ATI control panel, as I always had Nvidia cards, but if you have indeed vsync on and you get 300 fps, something is wrong. Vsync locks your fps to the fps of your display.
One thing I had to do for daoc, was to rename game.dll to game.exe, set everything up and then change it back to game.dll again, but again, no idea if this is necessary for ATI cards.

it's not supposed to lower your fps by being hard to process with gk or anything, it should straight up lock it at like 30/60 FPS.

edit: could you maybe post a screen of the settings panel you use?

have you tried using : Nvidia Inspector http://downloads.guru3d.com/NVIDIA-Inspector-1.94-download-2612.html

or Afterburner http://event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/download.htm

these have limiters built in.
