mob agro range

I wonder who had the ideea of setting agro range for mobs at 600 yards, on live you could walk alot easier in DF at least , here i stay far away from a mob.. and after 4 seconds he comes to me all of a sudden ..from 600+ range ..its like WTF!

I know DF range of mobs for each corner and spot, on Uthg the agro range is 25% higher ..not to mention a weird behaviour ..u stay in a spot..mob comes on you after 5 seconds ..itsl ike wtf..he was sleeping until then or what? SO no ..thats not Mythic implementation. Glacius ( previous acount name)

Sounds like you're referring to aggro chance - the % chance a mob will 'notice' you if you are in range.
I can look at individual mobs - its possible the mobs in DF are set incorrectly. That zone needs an overhaul as some GMs decided to customize it in the past, so ''who knows''. |

Agro range, agro chance and agro behaviour are 3 and totally diferent things Abydos. Agro range is the range in yards yes? well its too big..set for around 600 + yards for plateds at least when it should be 400 max. Agro chance also should be lower with each colour con towards you.. purp highest, red etc..having blue and green with lowest chances to get an agro ..grey beeing 0. Agro behaviour is also implemented wrong because i got agroed from a mob after staying 5 seconds in 600 range from him... if i m in his agro range the mob should come to me after 1-2 seconds ..not after 5 seconds. I literally puled a mob started fighting it and a plated from a mile aways came also add on me..was like shiet ! Glacius ( previous acount name)
