Hello everybody


I wanted to give the uthgard server a try because of it being mentioned on the other emu server I play on P99 EQ


I searched the site briefly but was unable to find a set up guide... (in english at least) and wanted to make sure I was setting this up correctly.


Do i just run the Mythic Patcher then install the Connection batch file and I can log on to the server?

bit of a late response but i finally got the game downloaded.. just haven't got around to trying the server yet.


I was taking a look at the setup guide that you linked and for whatever reason the images aren't showing up.

The walk through says to change settings to connect to server and references a picture.. but the image isn't there for me :\

Pretty straight-forward. Install the game straight from Mythic to the latest. Once done just remove the shortcut to camelot.exe as you won't use it again. Download the game.dll for version 1.109 from here, http://www.megaupload.com/?d=1OSSTJEY (provided by Aramis)

Copy the game.dll in the default game directory and overwrite the newer one. If you don't you will get the load screen to about 95% done and it will eventually same something like "you havene't been invited, blah".

Download and install the daocportal and mods from here, viewtopic.php?f=65&t=11908

Make sure to at least add the classic mod otherwise when you go to the portal keeps, they will be empty of people and you can't go into the frontier.

Run the daocportal program and under settings point to the game directory where the camelot.exe is. Set Uthgard as your favorite of course and login.

I think the server where the classic patch is stored might be doing maintenance at the moment because I can't download that one right now.

I got the other 3 mods though and replaced the game.dll... I'll give it a shot tomorrow to get that last file.


All i do is run the .dmm files from the daoc\mods folder then I'm all set to play right?

install the mods thru DaoC portal, thats what I did/do atleast, makes it easier.

said i had to register an email.. i think i did that correct.. checked my email box but nothing was in it..

guess ill just log on and play lol

You have to type your email two times in the command line
/email address@mail.com address@mail.com
