Hello Community :)

I've been thinking about getting a SSD for a while now, and finally decided that the time has come :)
Now, my gaming computer hasen't been changed since the release of Windows 7, so I guess a fresh and clean Windows can't hurt either. That is, I have all possible options to install Windows and DAOC wherever I like.

Since 2 HDDs, especially one being a SSD, allow it to record with Fraps smoothly (or so I hope), I'm planning to do so :D My screen has 2560x1440 resolution, so I would like to record on full resolution if possible, but probably will be restricted to 50% resolution for HDD performance and storage performance reasons.

I know that DAOC and fraps destination folder should be on different drives, so here is the question. Should I put

A) Windows on SSD, DAOC on HDD, record on SSD or
B) Windows on HDD, DAOC on HDD, record on SSD or
C) Windows on SSD, DAOC on SSD, record on HDD or
D) Windows on HDD, DAOC on SSD, record on HDD?

Please note that I don't care for things like boot time. It's my gaming PC, so I only care for gaming performance, that is playing+recording as smoothly as possible.

Personally, I tend to use option C), but I'm not sure if the HDD can take the high Fraps data-rates.

What do you think?

Additional hardware information:
Intel E 8400, 4 GB DDR2 memory, Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB HDD, ATI 4870 1GB, SSD will be Samsung 830 series.

Windows and DAoC on SSD, Frapsing to HDD - my setup anyway.

First of all, HDDs are more than fast enough to write Fraps without issues, secondly your system and gaming overall will benefit more from having your OS/game on an SSD.

Not to mention you will kill your SSD very quickly frapsing on it.

The less you write to your SSD, the better. ;)

The group that runs up against them can't kill them fast enough because smite clerics have sooooooo many tools at their disposal combined with decent ranged damage with 8 of them dudes doing it!
