Hello, I haven't played DAOC in about a couple years or so and I am finally returning once again back to Uthgard =].. Before i quit, i played on the original dark age or the SI expansion set.. Now that everything has been upgraded to catacombs and darkness rising i was wondering if it was still possible to play on the original dark age graphics engine and still be able to play on this server... neone have ne ideas??? Thanks!!

Of course you are able to play with the Classic Graphics Engine - but it's recommended that you download the neweset Engine - named Darkness Rising.

This Engine is free - and a real big step from the Shrouded Isles Engine.

But as long as you do the autopatch you would be able to play with your "older" graphical engine.

yayyy!!! im not even sure if my computer will be able to handle the new darkness rising engine... How would i be able to install DAOC if i want to use the classic engine?
