So, I've been playing around on a Bonedancer... and find the class to be pretty dull only being restricted to the almost useless skeletal commander. I completely understand you guys do not want BD's running their armies of Sub-Pets as it is completely overpowered. Anyway, here is my suggestion to tweak the class, it has probably been mentioned before.

A minor

Custom change!!

Making Sub-Pets to Primary Pets.
BD's would still be restricted to just 1 pet, but with this change have a choice between pets. Very similar to Enchanters and Cabilists. Want a caster pet? Bring out the Bone Mage. Healer Pet? Bring out the Bone Mender. Buffer? Archer? Warrior? Seer? With just 1 of these pets, the BD is not as much of a threat.

The issue on live was having a BD with multiple pets running, thus multiple utility with setups like Healer/Healer/Seer, that setup enabled BD's the ability to just kite and heal up with Seer pets keeping enemies diseased/haste debuffed and menders slowly healing the caster.

What do you guys think? It's pure genius isnt it?!??! :D

I would also like to bring up a request for older skeleton models.
The current models were introduced with the catacombs client or sometime later (beyond Uthgard's targeted patch lvl). Using older models would give another tiny dose of the "Classic Feel" to the server.

The sub-pets appear to be using model id920, they also have a "hands raised in the air" casting animation. As for the commander, model id 952.

Why spend time into workarounds if its not done right and other important bugs are still unfixed.

I did not think this change would be so radical and involve so much of a time sink...

I only threw up these suggestions as I noticed reavers receive the most attention of the SI classes while the others are labeled with low priorities and receive no help at all.

Reavers got the most attention? They were waiting 5 years for their Asp style to be working. Its just one bugfix amonst many others.

Hey i wait 7 years for my pets now , after Kazuki told in xmas news 2005 they would come in the nest weeks :D

Heho,

Well Pestilenzia told some time ago in ts, that the BD was a fun char because the news said that the pest will come soon.
Now that fun char is Level 50 RR11L6 and still have one green con pet :D.
