Hello, thought I'd post this because I couldn't seem to find any posts anywhere that seemed relevant to what I'm asking.
Thought I'd post it here because I don't know where else to put it.

I logged onto my shammy just fine yesterday from the same IP as my brother and 2 cousins, I get home today from running some errands and try to log in, but now it says my account has been banned from this server type. The only thing I could find that mentions banning was something saying that they were sent to a 'jail' and questioned to make sure they weren't buff bots or something along those lines, if that is standard procedure, then why didn't that happen to any of us?

Kinda frustrated, confused, and curious all at the same time, is it because I run a midgard account and they run hibernia?

the only reason I could see a ban happening to all of us is because when I finish playing sometimes I'll let my nephew log onto his account on my computer, but that shouldn't cause any problems...

Guess the main point of this post is to find out [why/for what reason] we were all banned and to ask if it can be lifted/appealed or if we're just S.O.L.

I feel like an absolute idiot, after I posted this I started looking at the support forums more closely and noticed the /Read Me first\ thread about bans and if there's not a post about it it's a security issue. When I read what would cause a ban I smacked myself silly for a few minutes, because I had done just that (Tried logging into my nephews account, though I am 100% positive I have the right name and pass, but the account isn't hooked to an email address yet, was going to hook it to signeria@hotmail.com)
