patch 1.45: ability description
patch 1.49: DF (including monsters) mob: http://camelot.allakhazam.com/db/search.html?cmob=3119

The patch 1,45 was for mob outside DF,because DF doesn't exist at this patch...
the only think i found that this pet was charmable was on a site not official with a mention: in test! so perhaps removed because nothing on official forum, post by an administrator you give me an information to proof posted by an anonymous TO MT Pear i give you 5 Platines if you found information that drinker are charmable on these forum OFFICIAL posted by an ADMINISTRATOR http://support.darkageofcamelot.com/kb/ ... .php?id=79 or http://darkageofcamelot.com/content/patch-notes ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A player give me that it s the only notes you will found about it(but on a random forum: http://forums.bbbguild.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1904 or that http://www.gamebanshee.com/news/69919-v ... -test.html Goupill, Spidy

what can charm a minstrel sorcerer menthalist
Patch 1.45 - Sorcerer, Minstrel and Mentalist charms now charm additional monster types at higher levels. The first spell in each line charms humanoids only. The second adds animal type monsters, the third adds insect type monsters, and the fourth adds magical type monsters. This should alleviate some issues with finding pets at different level ranges. like you show me your link it s a type: demon the drinker i show you a magical monster AURORA: http://camelot.allakhazam.com/db/search.html?cmob=1036 so where you found you can charm a type: DEMon in the official forum PAtch notes Like i say the habilities to charm was make for monster outside DF , because darkness falls was pop in 1,49 and your drinker is not humanoid or magical monster or insect Goupill, Spidy

I remember that the Nabus been the pet to charm on live because of their see hidden ability ... looks like it´s kinda the same thing with the ranger side stun. No clear statements in the patchnotes but every live player can acknowledge the facts.
There´s several un"official" DAoC forums on the web and if things like that been mentioned on fE the vnboards there´s no need for discussions. Satas Hakx - various artists

how we know it s under patch 1.80, nothing
it s clearly write which kind of mob minstrel mentalist are avalaible to charm in Patch 1.45, theres is no update under patch 1.80 it can be say that it s a bug to be able to charm this type of mob when they create darkness fall the don't say you will be able to charm new type of mob : demon so no reason to put them for uthgard. on the patch or darkness fall they just say that about charm(patch 1.49)
Albion World: There were certain conditions where a some monsters in Keltoi dungeon would not respawn. Now they will respawn slowly under those conditions (as opposed to not at all). Mootang should no longer be displayed as "the Mootang". Lyonesse: The pygmy goblin sapper and bombardier were correctly set up as uncharmable, and now they are now properly displaying as uncharmable humanoids. Basilisks and cockatrices will now have a stun-like ability. They were trying to use an ability that had no effect on players previously. Golestandt's allies will heal less frequently. Llyn Barfog: The bearded gorger, frenzied feeder and needletooth devourer population has risen in Llyn Barfog. These beasts are more ravenous than ever, sometimes swarming their prey. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- if they wanted the mob type demon will be charmable, they wil have put some lines nbut nothing Goupill, Spidy

4 - humanoids - 1 Power per pulse
10 - humanoids, animals – 2 power per pulse 17 - humanoids, animals, insects – 3 power per pulse 25 - humanoids, animals, insects, magical – 4 power per pulse 33 - humanoids, animals, insects, magical, undead – 5 power per pulse 42 - anything charmable – 7 power per pulse That's for Mentalist. so MT pear do you find something
![]() You will find nothing because there is no update who say it's autorized to charm this new type of mob type:demon But don't stress it wil stay like that. it doesn't matter if you have any proof writen to argue your position, you will win anyway. PS: I know that you will win, you pet will be available, but if you find the word who say minstrel in patch ... are autorized charm mob type: demon---> drinker , i give you 5 platines Goupill, Spidy

I wrote some time ago a minstrel charming guide, where I lested deamons, too.
But dont find any writen proof about that. Its not that I want to "win" (im not playing anyway ^^) but I had in my mind that I tested it on pendragon some years ago. naburite drinkers where discussed years ago on uthgard cause of their bolt behavior => not charmable anymore I would say: hey I log in and test it, but sadly pendragon isnt aviable for test accounts anymore =| but if nobody finds a proof/ makes a test, yep, deamon should stay uncharmable for minstrels. Greetings Minplus |

Confirmed bug, minstrels cant charm it on live (demons)
Sorcs can. Drinker garrotes and lifetaps. Not all of them have detect hidden (as noted). the patch notes were in 1.63b test notes, but were left out (likely unintentionally) in 1.63 final notes. |

allright, than I had it wrong in mind
