Ok so I recently returned to the game and had trouble so I am making this for others.
You will need to download this file and replace it in your DAoC folder with the old one to get it to work. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=1OSSTJEY

and at last download DAOC Portal here , http://www.dolserver.net/daocportal/
