Hi,

is it actually envisaged to fix the Mobs HP-values? Or if not fixing, then maybe at least raising them by a moderate degree?

Greetings, Gemma (back once in a while =D )

That's only party true.

Plated are a bad example since they deal a significantly higher amount than comparable mobs also on live servers. Test it on live, plated do high melee dmg and are ment to be killed in groups (they are weak to different magic dmg types).

Undeads at entrance in barows hit same as plateds both lvl 27-28 .. some mobs hit harder others less .. i deea is that on uthg around lvl 26+ mob dmg jumps from 20 to 40 :P ..like they get double dps

Not trying to stomp on your grounds - lol - but,
As stated - some mobs were designed to be 'killed in groups'.
Some mobs are also designed to be 'soloable'.

With that being said - a LOT of mobs around the same level have significant HP differences, as well as attack damage differences. Mainly, because they are for different things. You wouldn't exactly "expect" 3 people to farm DF raid runs (although I've seen it done) ... and you wouldn't exactly "expect" a FG of people running around farming pointless mobs, although I have seen this done as well.....
Just my 2 pence

If you become irate, angry, wrathful, furious, ireful, wroth or indignent by anything that I say to you or just in general; you should always remember, it's only because I care that I pay attention in the first place.

Your 2 pence is not good my friend :) ..i dont talk about df runs..i talk about the whole range of mobs around lvl 26+ that hit double the dmg a lvl 24 does ..i am not the only one who saw it, if you have a fine sense for seeing that..you can..obviously you dont..not your fault ..some ppl can sing others not..its nature:)

When you say *Double the Damage* what type of damage is it? thrust/crush/slash and what are your resists to that damage types? All i see are generalities with no specifics. I may not have the *eye* for this that you do but, I also have no idea where you get this information?

You get this information by xping solo. There is a huge difference in mob dps around 25-30 dont know where exactly. All of a sudden mobs do alot more damage. But I think that mobs 25+ just deal normal damage, while 10-25 are somehow broken because there is no real difference in damage of a lvl 10 to lvl 25 mob.

LOL no worries. Anyhow - not sure what you play - or what you're fighting - but here's my story. Soloed on my friar so far basically from 1-40 so far. Have yet to notice a "double damage" increase in any mobs. Inside DF or outside. In the plains or in the dungeons. Then again, I keep my gear comlpetely up to do with resists and such at all times... Maybe your gear just got outdated? I dunno, but sounds kinda weird to me that you find mobs doing literally double damage. Can you post SSs if possible? I do know that some mobs have "abilities" just ilke you do and they can hurt tremendously sometimes, even if they crit... sometimes I look at my own HP and wonder WTF... scroll up only to found out the mob had a 'style' of some sort...
What about these 2 pence? :P

Also, didn't you make a sorc? :P

common we are riding here a dead horse!
the damage raises about (i speak about cornwall) twice at lvl 25-26 mobs or higher

blue already said it the mob damage is not correct (too low values, cause a lvl 24 mob makes same damages as a lvl 3 mob :D )

this is the fix blue is working on.

I lvld 1 merc to 43 and a sorc to 28 last in the last 3 weeks, the gear i had didnt change but for instance: i kiled young necyo that were yelo and they were doing 13-19 dmg, when i dinged i went in another part of df to kill same young necyo that were orange before and were yelow now ..bang dmg was like 20-35 ! same sorc i had with same gear , i was like wtf .. was same with mobs from barows when i soloed them with merc . ..and resists cant be taken into consideration ..i had like 3% max at melee resists .

I know what blue said ..i dont consider this a big issue ..there r many others ..like plateds should be weak to crush dmg but they are neutral :))) lilispawns the same .
