Whenever I port to a battle ground the client crashes. I can not log in even if I reboot it. Then a GM must move me.
It happens for all my chars and every battle ground. I have tried repatching the mythic client and reinstalling all the uthgard patches including classic. The error text file is: game caused an Access Violation in module game.dll at 0023:004cbbe7. Exception handler called in main thread. Cver Catacombs liv1325 Error occurred at 10/7/2011 23:31:12. try this.
1) Try playing with Atlantis skin to see if its a custom UI bug 2) Disable any third party applications like Radar ![]() 3) Do a file integrity check using the DAOC patcher programme Access Violations are caused by the application requesting memory space it has no right to use. This can be because something else is using that memory space, or there is nothing in it, or the application is incorrectly coded. It's unlikely to be client coding but you can't rule out a corrupt file; it could be an incorrect memory allocation or something else is accessing the memory space that should be reserved for the DAOC client. |
