If any of you have played 'modern' MMOs this quesiton will make sense to you. If not, maybe you can help with your DAoC experience.
1) Is there a way to bind my right click on my mouse to turn my character as I run around? For instance, I'm running a straight line and want to turn right or left. I would then HOLD right click, and slide mouse, therefore my character would continue to move 'forwards' while 'turning'. Such is how modern MMOs are played (specific example, default settings from RIFT / WOW and many others)

2) Trust me, I remember holding `(tilde) to pan my camera while running 8 mans. This question is in slight reference to the first. Is there a way to bind my PanCamera to my left click? I tried in /keyboard option in game, but nothing happened after I clicked and held L-Click. I assume it would've worked if I clicked, panned, clicked to turn off or something, but not doing that. That's not what I'm looking for. I'm also not looking for "mouselook" option.
-Mouselook has a negative effect for me of going 'up & down' while going side-side rather than working on a fixed horizontal level, (x-axis) if you will, with your character being the middle point.

3) I tried 'modern MMO' in /keyboard, but none of the above worked as well. Everything else is absolutely perfect, I just need these mouse options due to handicapped situations IRL.

4) I'm so happy to be back to DAoC. But I'm afraid that if I can't get these key bindings to go with my current playstyle I might find it so hard to come back it will push me away =/

PS: If you read this and LOL and are a serious PVPer, just know, I'm likely FREE RP's later because I only play for fun, and not all that good in PVP< LOLOL

I think I run the setup you are describing - from /keyboard i have Mouselook set to Right Mouse and Mouse Pan set to Left Mouse.
My Pan Camera is unset. It seems counter-intuitive but i steer with Right Mouse click and hold and pan with left (there is a *Snap back* setting under options at the character select screen for this)
