the bat should be in:
c:/mythic/catacombs/launcher/connect.bat

Just a little explanation what you did wrong with your batch file:
1) You filled in your data into the explanation. All lines starting with rem are just remarks.
2) The only line that gets processed is the last line in the file where it reads "forgot_to edit_connect_bat" - and you probably can guess what that means...
3) Finally, you also got the port wrong: Uthgard uses the standard port, i.e. 10300

As esme already posted your last line should read
DOLLoader C:\Mythic\Catacombs\loader\game.dll 217.171.203.88 10300 1 Estalianta #####

When you change your connect.bat like that you should be able to connect to our server.

k thanx both I tried it yesterday, didn't work but I guess that's because of the relocation of the server. So I'll try it afterwards again.

k now it worked, I'll check for another couple of updates, so I get some more choices in classes and maybe I'll try downgrading it too then.

i dont think you can,
i read that you can trick it by using the game.dll from an older version but dunno if it really works or not

Downgrading to 1.84 can be accomplished by using the European server instead of the US one. 1.85 tests are being performed there but this will take a couple of weeks to finish.
