Thats the point. Even prolonging the stay in BG's is the wrong direction to go. We increased the cap in the past above RR4 to help players get ready for main RvR. That was already the max possible limit we would allow.

BG RvR is not the main RvR, its intended for learning purposes only.

I believe a higher realmrank will not solve anything, in fact a lower realmrank will not harm anything either as long as it stays around 3L5-4L0. The real problem is the transition between endRvR and BGs. People are having a real hard time finding groups and beatable enemy players.

Fix these 2 issues and players that leave BGs, even if thats at 3L5, will have a way better chance of further improving stat- and skillwise and thus a way more rewarding time in endRvR, leading to a prolonged stay, rather than a disappointed retreat which contradicts the goal of endgame.
In defense of truth-to-experience.

I'm sorry but this isn't true, at least not completely. The first few BGs are indeed intended for learning purposes, but the last BG is mainly intended as a way to help players close the RR gap. Since that gap seems to be higher than R4L2 here on Uthgard, raising the last BG cap wouldn't be a stupid move at all and is indeed a completely VALID point of view to consider.

I do however have to say that I also don't think it would help.

While this is an interesting topic I'm afraid it's really off track. The concern is capping RPs before capping levels, and my solution (from page 1) is the following:

It wouldn't be hard to implement /rp off without having people linger in the BGs. Just disable it after a couple of EXP deaths and only let it be turned back on after getting another level. Also, it wouldn't be able to be used at the same time as /xp off. I think that would cover it nicely and allow us to cap BOTH EXP and RPs in the BGs.

, and I'd like staff input on it or proposals for similar solutions, as it has already been stated that the staff intends it to be possible to cap Levels before RR in most cases, which is simply not the case.

Finding a way to do this (even if it's just a short term method before a BG revamp) would require much less debate/discussion/etc and would be helpful right away.
