Problem with patching

Hi
I have a problem with patching my client after installing DAoC and I have contacted Mythic about it but it seems the customer support is down...do they even support this game any more? So...I have nowhere else to turn to, I hope its ok. My problem is this: When I try to patch the client I get the message: "Cannot connect to update server. Wait a while and try connecting again. If you still cannot connect, check your Internet settings." After this, I have tried disabling my Zone Alarm firewall and I have disabled the built in firewall in Windows 7. Anyone out there have any ideas what might be the cause of this? Thanks! /Tony |

Your Router can block the Ports you need for the patcher.
Try to start the patcher with administrative privileges. |

I have now tried to connect the patcher with administrative rights, but still get the same message. Its kinda funny that I dont get a reply from Mythic. Any one knows what this might be the cause of? Oh and thanks for your reply! ![]() Tony |

i had the same problem yesterday with my notebook....i think they set down the server....
I have copied all the folder from my desktop pc to my notebook, and now i can play |

Hi again
I finally got a reply from Mythic. They said that the cds are old, that you have to install the game by downloading the client. So I did that and now it works. ![]() |
