Cant charm Drinkers in DF

Hi
 i dont know if we are supposed to be able to charm drinkers in df, but when i tried to i got the message: You are not able to charm this type of monster (report)...
So just wanted to do that
edit: maybe should say i was playing minstrel if it matters. |

Since Drinkers have a LL Proc that will bug out and chain cast if you charm them, they are not charmable on Uth.

with 5 minstrel having a drinker charmed and sent it on a target we managed 3 server-freeze back the days when they got their lifetap-cast.
the problem is that the instant lifetap goes of up to 14 times per sec. and not only if the pet is rooted like the saffier simu´s are. after those 3 freezes naburites are set to non-charmable. |
