Archery Elevation Bonus During 1.69 ?

Lol i doesnt saw the link sorry. But this was implemented with 1.70 patch. We go to 1.69 then this shouldnt be implemented no? And this can bring bonus for hunter. I mean no limit.

Yep mythic implemented it with new RA's, Shortly after ToA and the ToA range bonus of 10%, which didnt exist in old system before ToA.
Here is a spot in Uppland, where i have 3050 elevation , if my target was running/riding on the road <-- have fun selecting him. Here is two screenshots showing the elevation and i set my GT to my max range i would be able to get from up here, first with the 500 max range bonus. -- 2600 Range --- http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/5376 ... 0range.jpg -- 3625 Range --- http://img693.imageshack.us/img693/3305 ... 5range.jpg This is a spot in uppland, close to castle Sauvage. May not be the best hunting spot, but there is spots simular out there in more traveled or XPed areas, to start your Assult from. It may look like a great advantage, but for an archer, it only means an extra 2, maybe 3 shots at 3050 elevation, and those shots still can be evaded/blocked or missed. And any one with instent range attacks, will stop your attacks at 1500 units, so with a long reuse purge, a archer needs what they can get and should be taking advantage of there envirement. |

Yes there are one near Svasud too. In my opinion this cap range should be removed. Archers will lose lot of toys, they need any advantage.

Ya, i also think mythic added the 500 cap, because of the 10% toa range bonus. Now in some spots without a cap, youd get more then 10%, but that toa bonus is 10% from elevation or same elevation, which gives that a great advantage, but since we do not have that, there should be no limit on elevation bonus.
