Well i know on live the damages are not super weak on a non assasin, but the main diffrence is that assasins get a 25% bonus to there dot (80 dmg lifebane / 59 after 26% resist) while a non assasin does not (64 dmg lifebane / 47 after 26% resist). If it is going above with some varience, it shouldnt be. But dont mistake lifebane poison from a non assasin, from a crafted matter dot, as they vary higher then 64 value. Maybe they shouldnt even be varying, including the assasins poisons. But in any case, such bug is not only affecting one class, but many and could get some priorty, but isnt a QQ of one style of class, which is what we are talking about. So i cant give this as an assasin QQ, as everyone is affected by it and needs the proper testing from live.

Here is a tip for all archers, to avoid getting encumbered when 118 str/con debuffed. Till a fix/temp fix can be implemented.
What you need to find out is how much str you will have after the debuff, as 1 str = 1 enc, unless you actualy bought some lifter. To find this out you minus any str buffs you have from the 118 str/con debuff, or well the str part of that. Example on the ranger with 31 PF, gets a 42 str buff. So its 118 - 42 = 76 Then you take that 76 of what left of the debuff and half it, so 76 / 2 = 38 Now just add the 38 + how much your str buff was, which in this example is 42, and that is how much str you will lose after the debuff, so its. 38 + 42 = 80 Then just minus 80 from your total str you currently have, for my ranger i would have 182 with his 42 str buff - 80, which is 182 - 80 = 102 So after i get debuffed i lose 80 str and my enc is now 102, which means i can only carry so many barrels/bottles and arrows, and have to avoid going above 102, if i do and i get debuffed, i risk getting snared. IF you dont have any buffs for str, then its just 118 / 2 = 59 , then just minus that from your total. |

Poison loss on weapons after relog ???
This does not happen afaik. My sb logs off with 6 weapons poisoned I log back on 6 weapons are still poisoned!! Player poisons and armor dot procs do stack, they worked when my SB fought Eclipsed new ranger. If these were valid issues the staff has fixed them. |

Thanks for the info Ithiggi, i guess such bugs did get fixed if what he said is true, which just shows that they do make fixes. Not every fix, but some.

hmm this is new then, and I don't remember anything in the changelog about it @ eclipsed: you might say that it is just small minor annoying bugs, but they are indeed bugs that make the life of an assassin / NS a lot more painful than it should be.. and as said before: Yes you should get your bugs fixed, however please stop whining so much about it.. it will get done at some point.. not like every pet / CC user is bumping the 100 of threads about: 1. missing pet abilities 2. buffs working weird on pets 3. CC immunities esp considering RAs if we did... oh god at the amount of posts I had to click just to see a bump / QQ ![]() |

Yes there is other class bugs, and each gets worked on , little by little in some way. Bug its rare to see a positive bug fix for archery in any form. Even though there is alot of supportive proof behind most of them, while other bugs, with little if not any proof/tests get looked into first. Even negitive bug reports toward archery gets looked into right away, but never positive.
But yes some day they will get fixed, we are just wonder what day and looking at how long some are, what year. Im sure archery procs got the same comment back 2 years ago, it will be fixed some day. 2 years later and ... But lets just drop it, its not going anywhere as we both have are own opinons on this. Back to the topic of arrow weight and possible work arounds, other then being forced to level up fletching. So far ive seen an idea to give free lifter to 35 bow/40+ bow, which would help the issue, but also benifical to other items in your bag. I believe a better temp fix is to just adjust to 0 weight for arrows, as it doesnt benifit you in anyway then carrying your arrows. Till there is a more advanced and time consuming fix implemented. |

As i already wrote 10 times regarding this issue:
Putting weight for arrows to 0,00 in the DB is not only a temporary fix... It can be a permanent fix!! Arrows with 0 weight will not give a real advantage to archers except taking away a disadvantage of being encumberd by str debuffs! I mean, what ya gonna do... Throw arrows in packs of 100 to an ennemy in RvR... ^^ Bows still shoot only as fast as they shoot! I honestly believe that this FIX takes maximum 10 minutes to modify the database arrow weights to 0,00, and then a reboot of the server might be required... Oh and yes i'm a highly experienced programmer, i know how development works ![]() Just my 10000 cents after repeating this fix for quite a couple of times. Also i already offered my help to fix archer related bugs if they send me parts of coding i can investigate... edit: or if they send me the tablename, column names (with their technical details on length & type) & the IDs of the arrows, i can write the query for them in 5 minutes ^^ Greetz Varkzor |

Ya it would be nice to have this one fixed, along with the rapid fire toggle issue. Another idea they could do, if its possible is make arrows not affect your enc when they are in your quiver. This way you can only have 800 arrows that weigh nothing. Anything extra in your bag will still weigh 2x, till a normal fix can be done. But i think the 0 weight would be an easyer and quicker fix though.
