I noticed a few things while playing my nightshade, first off perf and backstab seem to miss pretty often even on oj-red mobs which may be a bug (on live you never missed with those openers or it was rare)... also I noticed that instant damage and castable spell damage varies alot, last but not least gear that add to evenom skill make the level requirement for you to use in combat, the poison's level - normally it's your nightshade level that is the requirement, so for instance if i were level 25 and had a 25+5 envenom I should be able to use level 30 poison.

What kind of missing you talk about? Really "miss" or just fail the style?

tbh I fail PA/BS pretty much too since the melee-delay has been removed. But it's just a matter of habbit.

@ Rpgyay:

Get used to it. I played multiple infs (spec differences) on live. probably 3 or 4 to 50 over the 5 or 6 years I played. I missed perf/backstab on moving targets probably 5-10% of the time at worst.

On this server, however.... WOW. Im actually considering just doing DW/Env/Thrust/stealth and very little CS due to how unreliable it is. Using the timing from live, I will miss almost every time. After I readjusted my timing, I hit about 50% here. Other times the enemies are "Not in view" and my offhand swings... Logic, where are you? Other times It will say im too far away from a stationary target that I am standing right in front of. Other times still, I will just swing regular, and it said I didnt perform it right. CS is an extremely unreliable line at best here. The only saving grace are the evade styles do great damage.

Although ive not tried it yet, Im forseeing that high CD/DW/LA, high env, comp stealth/weapon using advanced weapon styles might be the way to go here. Just my experiences though.

When I say miss alot with perf/backstab I mean I get the message "you miss", not a failed style message, though I will fail alot since I get revealed as i'm auto training stealth... on the live server, like I said you wouldn't have a chance to "miss" with perf/backstab openers, I actually remember old thid 20-24 BG and perfing/backstabbing the purple lord and then running off and stealthing and repeating... as for the castable spells and instant damage on nightshade the damage can literally be for example from 1 damage to 60 unless things change later on, i'm level 35 at the moment.

If you are level 25 and you have 30 composite poison 25+5 you cant use lev 30 poisons. You cant use highest poison level than your char level.

All miss a lot in red and purple mobs. Isnt your problem only.

That's what I was reporting as possible bug, on live if you had a say 25+5 envenom you would be able to use level 30 poison even if you were level 25.
