Okay well I started playing on the Freeshard some the other day and got everything setup and ready. Played it for a bit and then some friends wanted me to come back to the live server for a bit. My problem is that on the live server the PvE side of Castle Sauvage now looks like a tower with a bunch of guards and porters standing around in the middle of nowhere. The walls from the keep are all gone and the pad. The horse guy is still there and everything but the graphic for the keep seems to be gone now.

Also it seems like where there should be keep walls I can just walk straight through. I can even walk into OF now at least in the zone that holds Castle Excalibur.

How do I fix this?

I kind of wanted to be able to play both live server and the Freeshard...

I chose the labyrinth install path in the EA folder for the DAOC Portal should I have chosen like Darkness rising instead? Since I don't use that client?

If so what do I do now to recover the models that I am missing or whatever?

to play live: simply load camelot.exe and let it patch
to play uth: reinstall the mods every single time you have been on the live servers

on live you might have to click the "check all files" box while patching before playing

It does that but the problem still persists.

I don't think there is a check all files box anymore.

go to the mod manager - uncheck all the mods - patch

see if that works

you could copy the lotm client to a different directory and set dol launcher to that directory and patch it so i would be separate from your live directory.

you could download a new client from live - that should give you the correct models .. then you would have 1 folder for shards and 1 for live

So what folder do I need to replace that contains the models? Also can I just copy over the UI folder?

not sure what folder you need to replace - easiest would be to download the full client again

and yes the UI folder you can copy with no issues
