could you please provide any links to a video where it is possible to see that there indeed is a bug here?

until then this bug report isn't of much value for the developers I'm afraid

It took me ~7 seconds to open youtube and find these two videos.

By the way those things not draining endurance is pretty much common knowledge, anyone who has played live will know that.

ty - not sure if these videos are usable as they don't mention much about patch level - date or server

also the one that is in the OF zone doesn't use a very good UI for seeing how the endo cost is.. but ty I hope Blue can use that footage to anything

It was.... Pala love-patch 1.82 or something like that. Endu drain from chants, songs, instaspells had been removed there, cele, magic ablaitiv and strselfbuff for pally were added same patch if im not mistaken. Also warder shieldspec came with same patch, and some times later the healstyles for friar and warden.

Draining endu on activation is a custom fix to disbale nonstop sprintmode thats always been abused on live. Think about it however you want, its same as lagstrafing with the difference that its harder to find as a beautiful solution against lagstrafers as it is against sprintabusers.

Does anyone here check their info or everyone just assumes everything and hope they're right ?

Satz is right.. also i remember skalds and other DD classes having 5% end cost to any insta DD,debufs they were making , i had reaver and when they came with SI if i was using my aoe abs debufs and instants for each i was loosing 5% end, all this until they got changed during TOA but i dont know what patch because when i played the game i wasnt payin any attention to those patch numbers.
Its your thread , ppl say what think and remember ..YOU go and read the patches from 1st to the last .. i know i have like 5 times until not for the info i needed , and then tell us in which patch this feature got changed.

When the paladin from OF in the video you posted hit his chants, he loses a tiny bit of endurance.

From the begining paladin used power to create ENDURANCE that was used further on for his heal dmg add AF chants

Toblerone, sorry to break it for you, but, at least back in 2004. paladins DID use endurance for starting their chants.

I used to play one extensively and remember it quite vividly.

Have you noticed how this bugreport has gone ahead simply because you didn't provide with any real proof besides a few videos that MIGHT be usable?

and this my friends (speaking to all of the Uth forum community) is why we need good bug reports..

moved to support until clarified as a real bug
