Salutations!

I'm brand spanking new and I can't wait to play!
This is my first time playing DAoC, so maybe I hang around with some of you cool cats in game and maybe learn something.

Anyways, I do believe that I have to register on DAoC Portal to login, correct?
There's a registration error that keeps preventing me from completing my registration.

General Error
Could not find email template file [
./language/en/en/email/user_welcome_inactive.txt ]

I think it has to do with the sending of a confirmation email.
I tried to notify the board administrator or webmaster: noreply@dolserver.net
But that email address is not working.

Any solutions/tips/comments? Thanks in advance for your time!

DAoCPortal ist just a tool, you don't need to sign up there.

You don't need to register an account to play, just type in an username and password - it's auto-created - but it might be that your username is already in use then try another.

it's been a while since i created my account but i think all you have to do is have daoc portal launched. and select uthgard from the list and choose your login and password and press play and it will launch the daoc client.

Oh wow, I'm sorry for not searching. I was just blinded with enthusiasm.

I jumped to conclusions when I read this on DAoC Portal:
1) A DAoC Portal Account
One account entry is needed per server, so we can authenticate updates on the server list.

Now I realize that is for hosting Dawn of Light powered servers.
