I know when you put a Reactive Effect on a shield, it could proc when you block.
I would like to know if it works the same on weapons, for example could the effect proc when i parry if i put a Reactive Effect on it ?

Thanks.

My shieldproc procs when I hit someone with it ASWELL when I block someone's blow.

Im not sure if my weapon procs on parry, but imo it shud be the same way.

Are you sure ?
I thought it was Effect which could proc when you hit someone and Reactive Effect which could proc when you block someone.

weapons don't proc when you parry afaik. as for shield reactive procs, it's normal that they go off even when you block. Had them go off quite a few times when blocking with my paladin on live.

Reactive Procs on shields should only go off when you block while active procs on shields should only go off when you attack succesfully with the shield.

About reactive procs on weapons I do not know, I have never tried that out on live.

I guess the olny way to find out is to put an reactive proc on a weapon and fight lots of mobs in order to parry and check for procs going off.

But since you can only put one proc on one item, and since you do hit a lot more frequently than you parry, you should really think about getting a offensive proc.

Bug when reactive procs fire when you are in fact actively attacking.
It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.

Correct, i never had reactive procs on a weapon, shileds are somehow more adequite for reactive procs because u block more then u hit, it is a bug here the fact that u can get a proc off VS some1 when u hit with a shield that has reactive proc on it.
I dont even know if u can put reactive procs on weapons, and i dont think parrying will activate them, better to put offensive procs cause u got alot more chances.
