Hi,
I'm new to DAOC, just few weeks. So question is how do I understand grids (coordinates)? Reading about some Mobs, i've found that they location is written in numbers. How do I see im at the place, described by numbers? Ty |

To see your current location in x,y coordinates type /loc. An easy way to find out where mobs at location x,y are type /faceloc xxxxx, xxxxx For example if Unholy Gorge Dweller is found at 35621,17281 in Breifine, just type /faceloc 35000, 17000 and you'll face the spot. |

Roughly coordinates are made like this for every map:
![]() For your current exact location type "/loc" To face to a certain location type "/faceloc X Y" (example: /faceloc 15000 30000) |

when you open a map, with shift+M you see one, right?
![]() Imagine, top left corner is 0 0. bottom right corner is 60.000 60.000. Just dont get confused with those big numbers, its just same old easy karthesian coordinates system, like one learns at school ![]() The third number is the hight position, which is, in most cases(beside df and some other dungeons) of no importance. |
