The jade simulacrum pet is broken I think. I'm not sure if you're aware of it or not. It's supposed to have a damage shield, but it doesn't.

search could have answered your question..
the jade simu is not broken..
its not implemented fully so far, means its only melee wth no abilitys.
same goes for emerald sime..it doesnt have its DoT and disease.
