I'm guessing this is a change related to the resent dot fix, however is this how bleed should work?

I remember it as starting at some value ticking down 1 dmg / tick?

Yes, but depending on resists what you observed here should be correct.

As you see, it ticked for 18, 17, 16 damage.

guess its some rounding issues which makes it seems like bleed got a variance on each tick

because if you take in example a bleed starting at 10 dmg on a target with 25% hits you get


10*0,75 = 7,5 --> 8 dmg
9*0,75 = 6,75 --> 7 dmg
8*0,75 = 6 --> 6 dmg


so im guessing its some rounding things making it look wierd to what im used to
