There is something id like to confirm. Maybe im just too noob and know nothing about daoc, but still. This one sounds fishy.

or this one, should be same

The issue stated there, is probably known and reported several times already, but well, here you go again.

There are 2 things i dont understand, maybe you can make it clear to me. First thing is that savages stunstyles(maybe its just 1), somehow overwrites stunimmunities and can chainstun an enemy. Bug? Working as intended?

Second thing: I am playing DAoC on Uthgard, am i not? Usually immunities to all castable CC last exactly one minute, and to all melee stuns, exactly stunduration*5 seconds. Therefore, what game is that gamemaster talking about? Its not about DAoC for sure.

Maybe you can help me with your knowledgedatabase.

:D
well immunity timer is influenced by stun duration. but its ofc not half of stun duration :D
its like stun duration x6 = stun immunity. dont know if the factor rly 6, but something like this for sure^^
shorter stun = shorter immunity timer

GM plays Savage, so everything is fine, no bug, go away, nothing to see :P

No seriously, that GM is a human and as such, he made a mistake here and Satz is right.

Id like to read a gamemaster`s opinion on this one.

If i remember correctly:

Meleestun immunities: stundurarion*5=immunitytimer. Example 9sec(slam)*5=45sec immunity.

Cast mezz/root/stun/snare/nearsight: fixed duration of one minute.

Please, dont spam too much unneccesary stuff into this topic.

Gerbald, for the last time, stop this crap. There might be some users here who believe in your bullshit. This was the last time I have tolerated this.

@ Satz: The immunity is of course duration*5. Yes, sometimes "even" we can be wrong. But to be honest, I don't really get your point. Asking about calculations has absolutely nothing to do with support. What you are talking about is a possible bugreport that is placed wrong in an appeal.

So regarding your possible bug, the only possibility would be a second stun timer, which I have never seen before in melee attacks. The best would be just to test it.

Such questions / statements are no reason for a /callgm! Please don't ask questions about game mechanics in /callgm!

You have our forums to clear up such issues. /callgm is for immediate problems like being stuck in a door, item problems and such. Don't ask our GM's such questions, they don't have to know every aspect of the game and it wastes their time. They don't have any access to the servercode too to check the inner workings.
It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.
Every bug gets fixed. Sooner or later.

I know what you're talking about... Best thing is to look to the other side I guess, like Nixian said, it's better to have people do it like they want instead of not at all.

Logic failure but hey, it's the best we got.
