We played today and for some reason besides lag at Thid Albs full group they were able to hit us but we couldn't hit them especially the last fight which everyone decided to quit. Can't blame them at all
I was on a caster a few times this happen and sometimes on a tank and can't hit them and I was not the only one many of us couldn't hit them but for some reason Albs group was able to cast and melee us. Wondering if anymore players from mids are having the same problem? It's impossible to play like this and no fun too. No point in going out there to fight if you can't hit back. One last thing the Connection bar was at green for me and the same for the others and still again not able to hit anyone of the albs. Curious to know if anymore been experiencing this problem at Thid BG against especially the Albs. Cheers - Herculees(Warrior) |

Dunno why, but its true that most of times, when hard lag, lag is not balanced per realm, sometimes albion has much more, other times has less.

i have experienced a similar thing (a few weeks ago) in Braemar. I had just passed the bridge at the pk and there i saw an alb coming towards me. (was with my rune) I targeted and tried to bolt and dd the alb (while trying to get debuffs on him) but he was out-of-range according to systemmessage, however he was very able to cast and hit me to death a very short moment after.
Then his "lagshadow" passed me and ran towards the pk (had to be a lagshadow, for he passed the bridgeguards without aggroing). He should had to be in view before i died, because he passed me after my death, so before my death i should had LOS (because he couldnt be behind me) and i had to be in range (because he was able to cast ,me to death. remeber i tried to bolt him = 1850 range). I only hadn't reported it because it happened only one time to me and i believe it to be a lag-issue which can't be fixed. |

I think it's the lag and I have experience many times hibs or Albs flying away from me and lag dragging. I wish they didn't do that I like to play fair.
Just now not going to mention names hib caster lag drag me on the bridge of HB in thid, so I jump down and cut him off and got him but it's sad to see players who actually play well, and make it hard for honest players. I also believe, and many have said to me that Uthgard members have been working hard on the OF, which can explain why we lag a lot at bg's etc. It's possible this maybe true. Herculees |

I was in Braem the other day on a alt and I could have swore I saw a kobold run at the speed of sound.
I am not sure if it was lag or speed hack. I never saw him again to get a name but strange lag issues have been certainly happening in Hib also. Players lagging right into you as if they warped. Strange indeed but yes it has been happening in hib too. |

other people lagging - oh no windowdraggers for sure
![]() hint: if you experience lag, other people might experience it too, if you have proof about behaviour against rules contact the staff, if you don't have this proof just don't say anything. |

The problem lies within the lagrunning players one can often see it agramon(wide hills with lots of players). When your client sees a player running out of your view, it looses the serverside information about this player and considers him running further away, as if the player was LD. Sometimes, same happens when those players just lag a bit, so their shadows keep running towards their last destination.
Your client shows your the lagshadow only, and, somehow, doesnt recieve any information about the player himself. So you are able to stick the players' shadow, but arent able to attack, im most cases, because of range, but sometimes because of wrong direction facing. This problem acured after the server updated to 1.95. Which means, that Mythic somehow changed the clients' tracking system or something like that. Long story short: its a client-side-issue, noone besides the devs can do anything about it, especially since the sever requires v1.95 to connect. |

Been playing this game for a long time and I know when someone is lag draging. At the bridge that was lag dragging and I know the difference. I do however wait for the player to do it more then once or twice before I make judgment and this guy did it 3 times but the third time i was able to cut him off by jumping off the bridge and meeting him on the other side when he needed to make a left. When I was busy cutting him off I had no time to take a screen shoot of before and after especially when he made a left at the bridge. Names will not be said because again I would need proof and I had no time for it because I had to make a quick decision to cut him off. Thank you for your concern about having proof because it shows that you really care. ![]() Herculees |

yeah I do care, I was already accused of windowdragging and I wouldn't like to get banned just because I have lags, especially now when I have lags as soon as one fg shows up... |

Gm's will not make a quick decision, they would observe for a while before making a harsh decision. This thread was mainly for the lag that has been going on for a while and many of us believe that it is possible that they have been working on OF and not to mention also record breaking populations on Uthgard server which is amazing. |
