I have a question regarding Spellcrafting.
Let's say that my skill is at 800, I want to put gems in a pair of level 42 scale leggings.

The leggings are at 98% Quality, the overcharge is 28.5/26.
My Kort's SC Calculator tells me that I have a 100% chance of success on this overcharge, is this correct?

How do I know what quality I need on the gems, if that matters at all?

For Loki SC calculator:
- lvl 42 armor 98% has 20 imbue.
- lvl 42 armor 100% has 26 imbue.

So i guess you are using moras bug version, where report always the imbue of a 100% item value and not the correct 1.

korts doesnt support uthgard crafting system afaik

better use lokis..

Well alright, I downloaded LOKI.
LOKI tells me how the quality of the item and gems affect my chance of success, but it says nothing about my skill level.

What I can say is: in that item the max imbue with overcharge is 25. try to spell with 27/26 imbue will be impossible sorry.

For 5.5p overcharge u need all gems 99% to have 0% chance to blow, 3x99+1x98% = 2% chance to blow ... and as the quality of the gem drops the more chance to blow u get, also the less overcharge u put the lower the quality of the gems is needed.

Nobody really answered his question yet so here goes:

You can't overcharge anything without having over 1000 Spellcrafting skill.
Your skill level doesn't matter for anything else, besides that it has to be 1000 or more to overcharge anything (it is said that having a higher spellcrafting skill (over 1000) also helps, but it's not going to make a lot of difference, the quality of gems and gear is way more important).

The chance to succeed will be affected by gear quality, gem quality and the amount of gems. When trying to spellcraft something, make sure u're putting 4 stats (gems) on it to max the utility.

I believe my main problem was that I was using a newer(2.5) version of LOKI.
I downloaded the old(1.4) version, now it works alot better.

korts does work with uth system, only the latest versions are wrong, i use 1.45 and it works very well
