For some reason today I have had difficulty staying connected to the server. I log on and after about 5 minutes of playing on my character before everything freezes up and I'm booted out of DAOC and given the 'lost connection to server' message that you normally get from going link dead.

I've talked to some of my guildmates, and while some of them have had some serious lag issues today, none of them have been having my problem. I've tested my internet connection on my other online games, and they work fine with no lag. I've tried restarting my router, but that didn't seem to work either.

Some advice would be appreciated.

had lots of lag during dr too.. if you look at the herald, seems like the server was running at max capacity.. flatlined a major dips..
not a lot of linkdeads tho.. dunno if it's server or client side

Well I've tried again and I haven't had any LD problems for a little while. Maybe the server just had a few hiccups or something, but whatever happened it seems to be resolved now.
