I've been attempting to join Uthgard for well over a week now, trouble shooting on and off in IRC with no success.
I'm hoping posting here will help shed some light on my issues.

I downloaded the "PLAY NOW" client from www.darkageofcamelot.com

After I download I patch the client as instructed.

I than downloaded DAOC Portal and installed the classic frontier patch off the downloads section. Everytime I attempt to connect (even after trying multiple account names) I get the same messages.

The client tells me:
Your Account is currently Banned from this Server Type
Hit ESC to exit the game

Once I hit escape DAOC Portal gives me the message:
The client could not connect to the server specified. Either it is not online, or you used a wrong ip/port. If these are not the reason, you may try to update your client to an EU version, as this error is also displayed if the client is not supported by the server.

Ping google.com: success

Any feedback or assistance would be greatly appreciated. Finding this server has really got me excited but its seem very frustrating connecting. A friend of mine took the exact same steps I did and was able to easily connect. Maybe it's my IP address?

do you have version 110 ? if yes, then download loewr version game.dll (about 5 mb) check this forum for infos, im also fighting with conectingproblems and hope this will solve mines

ok, im on the server, there was another mistake i made :
in daoc portal, i browsed to folder "DAoC" i musted browse to actual addon, in mine case, to .../daoc/catacombs ! that was my misteke, hope you also online now !
