Ne, es sind schon einige Freeshards online. Wenn du dir den Launcher unter http://portal.freeshards.de/files/launcher_setup.exe lädst, kannst du zu diesen connecten.

Bei den meisten reicht es, wenn du einen beliebigen Account samt Kennwort angibst. Für andere Server musst du dich allerdings erst auf der jeweiligen Homepage registrieren lassen, damit ein Account für dich eingerichtet wird. Einfach mal ausprobieren. ;-)
