Penetrating Arrow does not work on Uthgard

Penetrating Arrow doesn't seem to work on this server.

Even with Penetrating Arrow II i wasn't able to penetrate a single bladeturn so far.

Please vote for this issue on the issue tracker:

this bow skill is meant to penetrate bubbles which do come from others (theurg, runie, warden group BT).
it doesn't penetrate the personal bubble from casters.

so this makes it irrelevant to spec 50 bow....right?

27 is as high as you need to go. IMO.

how can 27 be enough?

+13 (assume RR2) puts you at 40...?

What are you possibly getting that is more important?

And if you;re saying melee....then i believe NS's have that covered.

27 is the final crit shot.

Penetrating arrow is terrible.

The ONLY reason you should go above is possibly to take rapid fire at 35. But I don't think it's worth it.

Not sure if you have played an archer in RvR here. The bow damage is shocking...

100-120 points of damage at composite 40.

120 points of damage at composite 50.

Literally anything is more important than that. Why waste hundreds of skill points to earn an average of 10-20 points dmg per fight?

Considering you will get interrupted easily by any class and will find yourself in melee after having fired once maybe twice, you better be prepared to defend yourself in melee.

My opinion on this may change once they fix the bow damage bug but I totally expect the archery damage to be just as useless really.

If you have 250 quickness is normal that you hit low damage arrows.
For hitting the damage cap you should shot arrows at around 3.6 seconds for caster and as slow as possible for tanks.
Reminder to Self: Quality over Quantity, what is the Value here?

Additionally, Longshot and Volley penetrate ALL Bladeturns, regardless of who cast them.
