As a Ranger is it viable to take Fletching? Can you salvage with fletching? If not are you able to take Fletching up to a certain level to get best arrows and then use rest of tradeskill points to take tailoring or armorcraft etc?

Once you choose a tradeskill I believe that is you locked into it on this server, on live you used to be able to do multiple trades on the one toon, but not here.

Perhaps do tailor instead and level fletcher as a secondary skill? if you are 1000 tailor you could still have really high fletching as well I believe.

That has a lot of info on it, you can do fletching to 75% level of your primary tailor skill.

In this particular case, yes, he could go 1000+ in Tailoring and be able to do 75% of that in Fletching which is more than enough for all the arrows.

You could also just go full fletching and be able to salvage as well, though that is overall more expensive. It's up to you if you care about making the highest level bows / staffs / instruments or not.
