Resist priorities

Creating a new template and all my resists will not be capped.

I plan to cap Body, Cold, Crush, Thrust & Slash

I need help prioritizing: Energy Matter & Spirit.

All 3 of them will be over 20, but I'm wondering what I might run into more. Thank you =)

As you can see below in my template I gave priority to all except energy which with racial resist I hit 12. I would rather prioritise matter etc for dots and heat due to leather being weak to it.

Although 12 energy is not ideal realistically it's practical - if you get mezzed by a sorc not much will change by capppng it, you should have no issues against a solo runemaster and quite frankly the only real issue you will face is a thane DD; at least in my view. But to be honest I don't see many thanes running around or at least did not when I was on mid. Try to prioritise capping Matter and you can sacrifice a bit of spirit and energy. Hope that helps.

Leather is not weak to Heat, it's weak to heat melee weapons which don't exist on Uthgard.

You only have to worry about Rain of Fire RA. Then again you dont have to worry about any 1vs1 with someone who specs in Rain of XXXXX. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Well, you also have to worry about fire wizards since bolts take armor resists into account and they deal +15% dmg against any kind of leather armor, but there are not many out so.....

out of those 3 I would prioritize matter for alchemy dot procs. if you're getting bolted by a fire wiz you have bigger problems
