charmed Pet follows...range?

hi, if i charm a pet and go on horse to ride to my target, does the pet follows allways and i can wait for it or disband it after a special range? i ask bc i like to charm some special pets in south of hibernia but have to walk a long way back.

They will lag behind and the charm will be cancelled, losing control of them.
Solution: get a bard for speed. On live it was solved by giving charmed pets horse speed when riding on a horse. =) Albion Forever!
