Weapon damage

Hello,
I played midgard from launch till toa. Figured I would try something different this next go around. I was planning on playing as a celt. What would be a good place to put your starting points. As I don't really want to gimp myself right off the bat. Also is there othere sites you guys use for daoc? Thanks for the info in advance! so which weapon exactly would you want to spec as a druid?

I would put 0 points into weapon. I wish I could find that post explaining it. But I would run around with a hammer.

druids cant spec into weapon, you know.
they have 3 spec lines. Nurture, Nature and Regrowth. thats why i thought u meant bard first...because they actually CAN spec into weapons  also: running around with a hammer is always advisable. even in reallife. edit: seeing you edited your first post, i finally understand where you are coming from :p i would always go 15 dex, 10 emp...but thats just me |

Yeah it's possible I got it mixed up with a different class. Been doing a lot of reading up on different classes. I have been trying to figure out which class I want to play on hib side. Sorry for the confusion

Hib sure has very interesting classes. being an alb i envy hib classes utility :>
so what do you wish to accomplish with your class? we might be able to help you out a little. |

With this one I was planning on doing a lot of rvr not sure if it will be 8 man or more. Guess that depends on what guild I end up joining. And also some raids. Time permitting heh.

ofc Druids are needed in almost every aspect the game has to offer. so if you enjoy healing in daoc, by all means, go for it.
 good luck! just....dont hit stuff with your hammer unless you desperately need to rupt something thats in melee range for some reason. |

Lol I like to run around while healing and hit stuff. I get to bored standing there.

which would make it so u have to wait 2 secs before Casting again. Maybe rethink your Class choice |

Or maybe play a class that runs around hitting stuff and only backup heals, like Friar or Warden. It will be nice while leveling but harder to get RvR groups since some groups run without Friar/Warden. |

So you have never had a good tank pull and you cast single HoT then slide a couple paces to your right or left and just hit whatever the dps is going to town on? And I only do this at near the entrance of a instance. Deeper down of course not because I'm generally to busy for that stuff. But near the entrance....never? I think Stone Cold Steve Austin said it best.....HEll YEAH

errrr.. okay have fun i guess. first 50 blunt druid in daoc history then i guess? what was your question exactly?
