Cookie Cutter BM spec advice

Been awhile since I played, is 50CD/42shield/34Pierce/20 parry the cookie cutter spec for small man 8/8 RvR?

I did 39 Pierce 6 Parry. More damage less defense, but in Small man/8man you shouldn't really be in melee combat with someone else until the fight is pretty much won already. in my opinion at least.
