Here is mine. I just could not live with myself having 13 heat. I gimped parry a bit but no big deal if your running in a grp. I can craft same stats as Dirk of Dangerous Tidings with a MP offhand to hold me over till I get it. When you say "running in a group" i assume you mean doing 8v8? But why would you trade heat resists (defense vs. fire mages) for parry (defense vs. ALL melee classes) then? Uthgard 2.0 is dominated by fotm midgard melee / zerker groups and i haven't seen a single fire mage in an 8v8 albion grp. No offence, but that choose seems not logical for min / max'ing templates. |

The chances of me squaring up against a tank on team fights is slim to none. Lol. I'll take my heat resists. Thanks.

Just because you aren't "squaring off" and 1v1ing a tank doesn't mean parry won't come into play. Believe it or not tanks can also get focused and die, and parry will also help with that. If you pivot around your target you could also parry snares or even a slam on occasion when a tank comes to peel you. As mentioned most alb caster groups are going to run debuff train cab+sorc nuking, so heat won't be a huge issue if you were strapped and had to prioritize a debuff to drop that would be the one. % heat < shield/parry
Because lot of time in 8vs8 you have this situation (especially if you are main peeler) : You want slam the other tank/peeler but he faces you and want to do the same to you. If we put apart the straf technique, your defensive ability to parry/block will play in the balance to know which one will win this 1vs1 in the 8vs8. Also if you play off, you will have lot of time the peeler on you, more he needs time to slam you, better it is. This will probably not change the final result in a 8vs8 but still more important imo. Heat is only usesfull against fire wizard, which i saw only once in armor epic in a zerg. Maybe some weapon proc. |
